On 21 July 2024, a field visit by the AJFVC team and AMSs took place in Bogor to observe a technical cooperation project site, showcasing collaboration between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Ministry of Agriculture Indonesia. This project, known as the “Public Private Partnership Project for the Improvement of Agricultural Marketing and Distribution Systems Phase 2” (IJHOP Phase 2). During the field visit, each of the AMSs engaged in discussions and interacted with a farmers’ group that is supported by this technical cooperation. The focus of the discussions was on learning about Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) strategies and gaining insights into effective marketing practices.
