On 22 August 2024, the AJFVC had a Progress Report Meeting with the JICA offices in the ASEAN region. The Project team presented an update on the current progress and upcoming plans. During the meeting, the Chief Advisor of the AJFVC highlighted the presentation made by AJFVC at the SSOM-AMAF+3 Meeting in Malaysia.

On 8 August 2024, the 23rd SSOM (Special Senior Officials Meeting)-AMAF+3 (China, Japan, and Korea) Meeting took place in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
